David Millican:

My objective as an inspector is to have you walk away from the inspection knowing the strong and weak points of the property, being aware of exactly what it is that you are about to buy with no last-minute surprises. I use state-of-the-art equipment including moisture meters, temperature sensors and carbon monoxide detectors. The report I will provide you with, which is delivered on site, contains detailed photographs of problems, covers nearly 1600 items, and gives you the knowledge that you need to make a fully informed decision.

David lived in Colorado, and moved to the northwest with his wife and children in 2003. Within the next two years he was taking courses at the local Colleges and Managing at Lowe’s Home Improvement.

When not performing inspections David enjoys skiing, fishing, coaching and spending time with his family.

Jefferson Livingston:

Since starting in the area Jefferson Livingston & Pillar To Post has been named by the Whatcom County Association of Realtors Affiliate of the Fourth Quarter in 2006, the Affiliate of the Second Quarter in 2007 and the 2007 Affiliate of the Year. In 2007 Jefferson was also elected by his fellow Pillar To Post franchisees to be an advisor to the corporate office of the largest home inspection company in America.

In 1997, Jefferson Livingston began his home-inspection carrier with a large Northwest-home-inspection company. In 2003 he purchased the Pillar To Post® franchise covering Whatcom, Skagit, and San Juan Counties. Even in a declining real estate market his company had excellent growth & completed nearly 700 inspections in 2007 alone.

On top of his construction background Jefferson graduate Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in History from BYU-Hawaii. Upon completion he worked as a high-school teacher in Oregon and later went on to teach in Japan. His teaching background carries over to the way he educates his clients about their new homes. As a licensed-real-estate instructor for the state of Washington Jefferson also teaches classes on various aspects of the home inspection field.

Jefferson is a husband and proud father of two beautiful daughters. The Livingston’s enjoy traveling and have even lived in Japan and Hawaii. If you come from North of the border Jefferson is able to speak Canadian having been born in Calgary. If you come from NE of the boarder he is also able to speak Norwegian having lived in Norway for two years.
