Purchase your home with confidence – Pillar To Post Home Inspectors
Since 2001, Pillar To Post of Southern Maryland has been providing professional home inspections for Maryland, Prince George’s, Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s Counties. Your local home inspector, John Clarke has completed well over 500 home inspections in this area. In addition to being a licensed and experienced home inspector John has over 30 years experience in building construction so you know you’ll receive a thorough and outstanding home inspection
Every home inspection receives a 1,600 point inspection from roof top to foundation, both inside and outside the home. During the home inspection, we will encourage all clients to participate in the inspection. At this time, we help clients become familiar with the layout of the home, the location of all major components and answer any questions they may have. Once the inspection is complete, we will have the inspection report ready for you, including photos, the same day. The report will outline the thorough inspection that was conducted on the home and detail any issues that may arise.
Booking a home inspection with the Pillar To Post of Southern Maryland team has never been easier, with our flexible scheduling to accommodate the clients’ needs. Should you also be requiring any added services, we can conduct:
- Radon Testing
- Water Testing
- Air Quality Testing
- Mold Sampling/Testing
- Well Water Analysis
- Well Chlorination
- Septic Inspection
- Termite Inspection
- Pest Inspections
- Infrared Scans
- Recall checks on Appliances
- Chimney Inspections
Home Buyers
For the buyer, an inspection will help you make an informed decision. It will familiarize you with the major systems of the home and how they operate. It will also provide you with the information you need for any maintenance or repairs your new purchase may require.
Home Sellers
For the seller, a pre-listing inspection can detect previously unknown problems or potential upgrades that you wish to address prior to selling your home. By identifying problems that could stall a future offer or sale, it reduces the chance of surprise and complications of future offers. This benefits all parties for a smoother transaction. Even if repairs are required, we can make recommendations for improvements that could help speed up the sale.
We look forward to hearing from you to schedule your next home inspection.
